NetApp acquires Data Mechanics

Cloud-led, data-centric software program firm, NetApp introduced the acquisition of Information Mechanics, a managed platform supplier for large knowledge processing and cloud analytics with workplaces in Paris, France. The duo didn’t share the monetary particulars of the transaction.

Information Mechanics permits organizations to capitalize on an open-source unified analytics engine for large-scale knowledge processing and machine studying, in Kubernetes, Apache Spark. The acquisition of Information Mechanics comes lower than a 12 months after the corporate’s Spot acquisition, now referred to as Spot by NetApp, which is a CloudOps supplier that automates and optimizes workloads operating in public cloud environments.
